At Rising Sun Shar Pei, we are dedicated to providing healthy puppies and well trained, responsive adults, male and female. We've gone to great lengths to make sure that all dogs bred and/or raised at our facility receive professional health care, appropriate preventive medical treatment and elementary training by our staff. We recently expanded our facilities in order to provide an expansive exercise room for our dogs, but we're still small enough to provide the contact necessary for stable, adjusted animals.

That human-to-dog contact is vital to the well-being of a Shar Pei. These dogs are highly intelligent and will attempt to take over if not properly trained. Since the type of early contact with humans helps determine the puppy's temperment later in life, we make certain our dogs receive a stable foundation

that will carry over to its adopted family. Once you take ownership of a Shar Pei from Rising Sun, we will provide instructions on how to make the dog's transition to its new home as seamless as possible.
